Padmini has a baby
In stomach
So happy and proud she is!
She is going to be
The mother to
Another child!

Poor soul!
Little does she know that
The child
In her stomach
Is going to keep her
Occupied
For the rest of her life
For, it is going to be a
Mentally anomalous
‘Down Syndrome’ child
And the child will need her
Feeding him
Cleaning him up 
Dressing him
For the whole of his life!
For the whole of her life!

Poor Padmini
She doesn’t know
She is happy now
So very happy!
