Rubbish
rubbish everywhere.
Not
a clean space to spare
You
clear it up today
Never
will it go away
Sounds
rhyming does not it. Neat and tidy. But not on the sides of the roads of
Malaysia. It will not be so noticeable when the grass and shrubs are high and
thick. the unneatness and the untidiness, I mean. But when the grass and shrubs are trimmed then this
happens; whole lot of scattered pieces of papers, plastics, tin cans, drink
packs and whatnots will scramble out like nowhere! Like magic! Magic it is! Done by Malaysian motorists. They make things disappear from their cars! Well, at their own convenient time, too. You finish a can of drink and then and there
throw the can out of the window. You eat a bun of bread and throw the plastic
covering out of the window. Simple. Your car is clean. But you, man of meaningless magic, your nation
is dirty!
So the next
time you finish a can of drink in your car, think. Which is important, your car
or your nation.
