President Trump - a phenomenon?

                                                          

        President Donald John Trump, the 45^th President of USA is a man of several faces. From watching TVs and other Medias, these are the actualities that I observed and perceived about the character of President Trump since the day of his campaigning for the Presidency against Hillary Clinton:

1.    Arrogant – Only he has to talk until finish. He does not like people to interrupt him while speaking. Thinks only he is correct.

2.    Likes to be the center of attraction. Likes people applauding him always. Gets carried away when hearing tremendous amount of applause and cheers, starts feeling like a hero and tells all the wrong things.

3.   Sacks anyone that he thinks is a liability.

4.    Quick to belittle his opponents and give degrading and funny names to them. Examples - crooked Hilary, sleepy Joe, little rocket man….

5.    Can be very rude, like asking reporters to shut up.

6.   Very abrasive. Does not think of diplomacy. Says out and does what he thinks is right to him. Many previous administrations’ international agreements have been affected. Examples – Paris climate control, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, the monetary contribution to NATO Alliance, the recent cancellation of contribution to WHO, the nuclear treaty with Iran by Obama...

7.   Declares anything that is said against him or endangers his reputation as fake news.

8.    Likes to tell the crowds of Americans people cheering him that he is different from the other Presidents and that he will make America great again, extracting more cheers!  But does not clarify since when actually America’s  greatness waned.

9.    Is not afraid of challenges and untreaded territory– meeting with the self-secluded  and sensitive President Kim Jong Un of North Korea.  

10. He is a proud man and shows it in public, insinuating he knows about everything there is to know.  He said with assertion that the drug hydroxychloroquine will cure the covid – 19 disease and  even he has been taking it. He said testing for the covid-19 virus is a beautiful thing.  Ugh! I can’t understand how digging inside your nose, ear and throat with a swab stick can be beautiful!  Not only that; recently he declared that USA’s covid - 19 positive cases is highest in the world because USA’s health officials are doing more tests. If the number of tests is reduced, then there will be less positive cases will be found. Brilliant! Why did the world not think of it! Going by that logic if less people were tested will there be fewer deaths?

Well, above are the character observation and postulation that I made.  I am sure you also have your own reflection and deduction as to his character, both good and bad, in your eyes.  We can share it as long as it is not vulgar.

But make no mistake; President Trump is a brave man, not afraid of any nasty consequences that his speech or actions can cause. Yes, in a way he is unlike other Presidents, always tweeting out what his mind says regarding various matters of his nation and the world. And blasts out what he thinks, without fear or favors. Perhaps this could be one of the reasons why he has his own huge numbers of supporters and fans.
